Homemade fudge brownie recipe

Recently I was looking for a easy homemade brownie receipe and this being the first time I was baking Brownies, I needed some trusted receipes and guess where I go in such case; to one and only Sally’s Baking Addiction . I have tried receipes from other sources as well but I have to admit, no one puts so much love in the receipes as Sally does.

The receipe I tried was a slightly modified version of this Seriously Fudgy Homemade Brownies receipe and even after the tweaks the brownies turned out amazing.

So what all will you need for this receipe :

  • 175gm unsalted butter
  • 1 tea spoon vanilla extract
  • 200gm Brown sugar
  • 200gm refined white sugar
  • 1 tea spoon salt
  • 125gm all purpose flour
  • 200gm cacao powder (unsweetened suitable for baking)
  • 3 medium eggs

Once you have all the ingredients, to make the receipe just follow the steps and you will end up in yummy brownies.

  1. Start by melting the butter on low heat.
  2. Once the butter is completely melted, take the bowl off from heat and mix in the sugar while the butter is still warm. Add vanilla extract to the mixture.
  3. Add the eggs one by one to the mixture and whisk them well.
  4. Now add all the dry ingredients (flour, cacao powder, salt) and mix them till there are no lumps and the whole mixture is of same consistency.
  5. Preheat the oven to 175°c.
  6. Prepare a backing form with a baking paper and spread the mixture evenly on it.
  7. Once the oven is heated, starting baking the brownies. Let it back for 25 minutes and then use the toothpick method to check until the brownies are really done. For me they took 35 minutes until ready.
  8. Take the brownies out and let them cool. Cut them in any crazy way and enjoy.

Tip: Brownies taste great with vanilla ice-cream and taste even better when they are warm.

Now it’s your turn to try this receipe. Leave in comments, if you like the outcome. Have a great day lovely people.
